Venue Spotlight: Lakeside Ballroom – Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino

With its incredible landscape and breathtaking views, Lake Tahoe is a heavily sought out destination for weddings. Choosing a venue for your special day is one of the most important decisions you will make. That being said, if you’re looking for a spot that encompasses the Tahoe vibe with a hint of modern elegance, look no further!

The Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe just remodeled their Lakeside Ballroom and we mean it when we say, it is BEAUTIFUL.

From the carpet, to the walls, and all the way up to the ceiling, this room has a completely new look!

With the process of redesign starting close to two years ago, the staff at the Hyatt is ecstatic to finally see everything come together. Melissa Woodley, Associate Director of Sales and Events, shared,

It’s been a long planning process and something that everybody at this hotel is just beyond excited about. Our sales team is so excited to sell the space. Our planning team is so excited to plan the functions and work with our vendor counterparts to really bring the space to life…

Here’s what you can expect from this new space:

Light, light, light

The atmosphere of a venue is determined by many things. The sounds, the smells, and the light! When it comes to planning an event, our team takes all of this into consideration for our clients. Working at the Lakeside Ballroom, you can now expect a vibrant room of clean and modern lines. This was achieved by redesigning the ceilings, adding a fresh coat of new paint, and adding new cool toned chandeliers. These elements transform the room to appear bigger and brighter. We are so over the moon about this new palette!

Indoor/Outdoor Fun

One of the perks of doing an event in the Lakeside Ballroom is having use of the accompanying Lakeside Patio. This outdoor space is perfect for an early evening cocktail hour or for a cozy late-night fire pit sesh! In addition to the upgrade of the ballroom, the Hyatt decided to upgrade the doors out to the patio to create a more fluid entrance and exit. Some of these doors now fully swing out and fold onto one another to allow open sections of the lake side wall! This will totally encourage more fun inside and out!

The best of Lake Tahoe

When deciding on the design of this space, the Hyatt team did a great job of staying true to Lake Tahoe. You can see the deep blue of the lake reflected in the tones of the carpet and the rustic feel of the mountains with the dark wood accents. These features will wow guests for any type of event. Whether it is a rustic wedding or an elegant corporate function, the Lakeside Ballroom can fit all forms and styles of events.

From the decor standpoint, we are excited to continue our partnership with the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe and create in the Lakeside Ballroom. This space is a new blank canvas for any and all event dreams. Our team looks at this as an opportunity to be adventurous and creative with our future decor!
