Our Top 11 Events of 2017
Here at Red Carpet we had the privilege of being a part of SO MANY incredible events this past year – so many that it was difficult to pick our favorites (hence why this blog is the top 11 events instead of the top 10). Check out a few of our most unique events, ranging from corporate to destination management to weddings, that we wanted to highlight.
Tech Company Lumberjack & jill Shindig
Who doesn’t love a lumberjack & jill themed event (or a lumberjack & jill for that matter)? This foresty celebration included interactive ice carvers, a beard crafting station, and custom lumber’tude signs like “Sawdust is man glitter”.

San Francisco 49ers Foundation Winterfest
For the ninth year in a row, we got to decorate for a world-class charity event for 49ers players, coaches, alumni, ownership, and Winter Olympians. Guests enjoyed interacting with the 49ers along with two days of winter activities and gourmet food and wine while raising funds for the 49ers Foundation.

Nike Takes Tahoe
When Nike comes to town you pull out ALL. THE. STOPS! Attendees enjoyed live wood carving, a bluegrass band … and a special appearance by Collin Raye! Our favorite part of the festivities? The chili cook off of course! Yummm.

Tom & Katie’s Wedding
Can you believe we flipped an entire ceremony tent and transformed it into an elegant dinner and reception in under thirty minutes! Phew, we are tired just thinking about it. To top it all off, guests were jumping into the pool by the end of the night to cool off from all of the dancing!

We have been fortunate enough to collaborate with Annie on a number of corporate events over the years so when she and Jaysen got engaged we were thrilled to be included in their celebration! We loved how unique this wedding was – from the balloon backdrop to the floral selection to the bride’s stunning wedding dress separates.

Arash & Megan’s Wedding
I think Megan’s sister (and maid of honor) said it best … this was THE BEST party EVER thrown by accountants. Guests were on their feet from the moment Megan and Arash walked into the reception (wearing all things flashy and blinky nonetheless). Not to mention, the bride’s entire extended family surprised the couple with a “Thriller” flash mob (Megan is known for busting out “Thriller” dance moves at family gatherings – she even dressed as Michael Jackson for her Vegas bachelorette party) and Arash surprised Megan with a lip sync to Beyonce’s song “Drunk In Love”.

Google Cloud-oween
We love Halloween an obscene amount here at Red Carpet! This explains why we had an absolute blast planning and decorating this unBOOlievable Halloween party. One of our favorite parts was the 30 foot screen playing spooky scenes from classic horror films on a loop throughout the entire night. And did we mention there was a “Thriller” flash mob? Two “Thriller” flash mobs in one month … consider us very lucky!

Sagar & Amita’s Wedding
What can you say about a groom that is so dedicated to creating the perfect wedding for his beautiful fiancée (who is busy completing her residency!) that he flies out from Michigan not once but twice to make sure that every detail is covered! He and his plucky Mom even drove to the Hyatt in a snowstorm to check out the venue- now that’s a determined groom! All of his hard work paid off, as you can see by the beautiful photos from this gorgeous fall wedding.
