We love Halloween over here at Red Carpet! It allows for creative and spooky ideas to intermix and come to life. We had a blast this past weekend planning and decorating an unBOOleivable Halloween party up at the Resort at Squaw Creek. When we started the brainstorm process, we thought why settle for one haunted theme when you can have two?! We split the room into two sections adding dimension to the party while catering to a diverse audience.
The first room was a black light haunted room, filled with torn fabric, eerie fog and scary messages. The room featured our regulation size bocce ball court with flashing balls and glow in the dark cornhole! Away from the chaos and loud music, guests could chat amongst themselves, play games and lounge on bean bags! The gang hanging out here was definitely #SquadGhouls!
In the other section, we showcased a dark yet elegant theme. With black chiffon swagged on the ceiling and red uplights projected throughout the room, we created a witchy ambiance! A large 30 ft screen was the focal part of the party, playing scary scenes from classic horror films on a loop throughout the night. Guests noted how it added a chill factor to the room. The tablescapes were filled with burgundy and black fabric, haunted floral, spooky lanterns, black candles and hollowed out pumpkins! The night kicked off with a killer DJ from the Bay Area, a Thriller flash mob and the best costume contest known to man! When guests were tired of dancing, they could lounge in our black furniture and put their drinks on our coffin styled coffee tables. You could say that party goers weren’t just there for the boos!
