Lumberjack Bash

Lumberjack Bash

By Sarah Rizza

We recently had the pleasure of throwing a Lumberjack Bash for 900 tech savvy guests. Our team loved the woodsman theme and created some amazing one-of-a kind pieces that transformed the Resort at Squaw Creek.

Our talented in-house graphic designer, Shelbi, created hilarious oversized posters: So plaid you came!

Our farm tables featured Buffalo Check runners from Creative Coverings and centerpieces with corrugated metal tins.

Industry Insights – Tips on Planning a Corporate or Community Event

By Amy Riley

At Red Carpet Events and Design, we have a long list of corporate and community clients we work with year after year. From galas to fundraisers, grand openings and brand launches, to employee celebrations and company milestone events, these types of events often take on a very different planning tone than dealing directly with a bridal couple or an intimate family celebration.

When should you contact our team for your event?

When should you contact our team for your event?

Congratulations - you've got a party or a wedding to plan! Unfortunately, during this exciting time when it seems like every person you know is offering advice or suggestions, it can often be confusing and hectic. Having a professional can ease the stress and questions of planning any size event and overall make the process more enjoyable - and it often saves our clients time and money.

Bringing Pinterest to Life

Bringing Pinterest to Life

Pinterest has become a valuable, if not essential, planning tool for brides and event planners alike. Many of our clients come to us with visual “scrapbooks” of color combinations, personalized details, and unique features they are looking to re-create for their dream event.

Karen’s Insights: A look back at 2014

Karen’s Insights: A look back at 2014

We had such an amazing 2014 at Red Carpet Events and Design! Our hard working team planned over 400 events ranging from corporate 50th anniversary parties to unique weddings, wild-fun themed casino parties to black tie galas.

We now have over 20,000 square feet of warehouse space, filled to the brim with the beautiful items that we added this year (trendy furniture, gorgeous vases and as always, lots of beautiful fabrics). Adding the space created even more work space for our talented team to build the custom creations that we’re known for.

The Bridal Bouquet

The Bridal Bouquet

Bridal bouquets are as individual and beautiful as the bride herself. While all brides have favorite flowers and usually know what they don't want, many guess at what combination will work for their dream floral and can be disappointed when the look or the cost isn't what they expected.

Red Carpet was thrilled to be a part of the fabulous wedding of Chrissy and Adam at the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe. This picturesque beach wedding offered custom details throughout and combined the talents of planning by Felicia Events, floral by Thrans flowers, and photography by Melina Wallisch.

Halloween 2014 at LEX Night Club

Halloween 2014 at LEX Night Club

We are proud to work with the amazing setting and people at LEX Nightclub at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino. This experience and sensory driven club offered a Halloween Experience like no other in 2014. With a theme of "Beetlejuice in Wonderland" and an array of custom props, Red Carpet helped LEX transform its grand interior into a true wonderland with ten-foot high mushrooms, a giant Beetlejuice snake, a Cheshire Cat black lit smile and so much more.
