What is the first word that pops into your head when you hear bachelorette party? Most likely, it is going to be something that involves drinking, dancing, or a night out with your girls. But what if I told you that non-traditional bachelorette parties are all the rave these days! Why not try something new and different, instead of falling into the lull of old traditions?

Slumber Party!

Remember the excitement you felt when it was your turn to host a slumber party with all your best girlfriends? Well who says that us grownups can’t still feel that same thrill?! Upgrade your childhood slumber party to an adult slumber party and you’ve got yourself the perfect bachelorette party! Put your face mask on, grab some Rose’, eat a sickening amount of junk food, and binge watch your favorite movies! This is a wonderful way to save money and still have an enjoyable time with old friends.

Soaking up Inspiration

Travel allows opportunities to witness new culture, new art, new design, and new people. One exciting aspect about event coordinating is that every experience you have can be brought back into the workplace. Whether you’re seeking inspiration for unique décor, researching innovative activities, making lasting connections, or just learning life lessons, traveling not only inspires but enriches. I want to share a few similarities I found between traveling and event planning from a recent trip to Hawaii.

At Red Carpet Events and Design, we have a long list of corporate and community clients we work with year after year. Bringing Pinterest to Life

Bringing Pinterest to Life

Pinterest has become a valuable, if not essential, planning tool for brides and event planners alike. Many of our clients come to us with visual “scrapbooks” of color combinations, personalized details, and unique features they are looking to re-create for their dream event.

Karen’s Insights: A look back at 2014

Karen’s Insights: A look back at 2014

We had such an amazing 2014 at Red Carpet Events and Design! Our hard working team planned over 400 events ranging from corporate 50th anniversary parties to unique weddings, wild-fun themed casino parties to black tie galas.

We now have over 20,000 square feet of warehouse space, filled to the brim with the beautiful items that we added this year (trendy furniture, gorgeous vases and as always, lots of beautiful fabrics). Adding the space created even more work space for our talented team to build the custom creations that we’re known for.

The Bridal Bouquet

The Bridal Bouquet

Bridal bouquets are as individual and beautiful as the bride herself. While all brides have favorite flowers and usually know what they don't want, many guess at what combination will work for their dream floral and can be disappointed when the look or the cost isn't what they expected.

Halloween 2014 at LEX Night Club

We are proud to work with the amazing setting and people at LEX Nightclub at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino. This experience and sensory driven club offered a Halloween Experience like no other in 2014. With a theme of "Beetlejuice in Wonderland" and an array of custom props, Red Carpet helped LEX transform its grand interior into a true wonderland with ten-foot high mushrooms, a giant Beetlejuice snake, a Cheshire Cat black lit smile and so much more.
