Please join Red Carpet Events and Design as we support NEVADA'S BIG GIVE on Thursday, March 10th!
What is Flick Ranch??
This beautiful historical mansion was built in 1942 and served as the home to the Flick and Kimpton families who contributed to the development of Northern Nevada through business and philanthropy, including organizations like the Reno Rodeo and the Nevada Humane Society. The mansion was also the first Bishop Manogue High School, a monastery for the Brothers of the Holy Rosary, and a treatment center known as Bristlecone Family Resources. Nevada families have lived, learned, worshiped and healed here for over 7 decades. Now, it sits vacant and is currently under threat of demolition.
The Flick Ranch Project plans to revitalize the mansion as a heritage and cultural center for Northern Nevada to enjoy. It will also serve as a special events venue and a nonprofit incubator for organizations with similar missions.
The Red Carpet team urges you to help save this historic piece of Reno and turn it into something that can make a huge impact on our community.
